“If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.”
Dr. Walden will help your little one with special needs earn that degree from kindergarten, middle school, elementary school, or your teen from high school. Dr. Walden will work with you to earn your Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Specialist’s degree. Just because she spends considerable time with doctoral learners does not mean
she will not work with you or your youngster.
Dr. Walden enjoys all ages, all strengths, and all challenges.
Most of us know the frustration a student may experience when trying to complete a degree program.
Writing can impose anxieties on a student when trying to meet a deadline.
Time is precious, professors and instructors can be unforgiving, and the demands are endless.
This is where Dr. Walden can help. The services she offers clients help them grasp the
concepts of college life, academics, and writing.
Dr. Walden personally tutors new re-entry students in the use of technology,
the skill of online classwork, writing academic papers, and how to master coursework.
“Writing is easy. All you do is stare at a blank sheet of paper until drops of blood form on your forehead.”
Dr. Walden's Teaching Philosophy: As a teacher and advocate, I recognize that each student is an individual, that all students are creative, and that all students can succeed. I respect the individual differences of students; fight for a caring and creative environment; and emphasize the social, emotional, artistic, and intellectual development of each student. As a teacher and advocate, my goal is to incorporate active involvement from the community, other teachers, advocates, parents, and students to create an atmosphere of cooperation with respect for all cultures, differences, talents, and beliefs (Walden, 2005).
“What we learn with pleasure we never forget.”
On that note, Dr. Walden has developed a sure-fire way to help children between Santa Claus and puberty want to write. Remember Pen Pals? Well, how about Paw Pals? Yes, Dr. Walden has put her three beautiful Maine Coon cats (and two granddaughters) to work writing emails, notes, poetry, short stories, music lyrics, and letters to the young and the young at heart. Young children (and the elderly) cannot resist believing that these beautiful furry felines actually write.
The young become motivated, inspired, and passionate about writing.
Boys and girls love receiving mail. They love reading or hearing stories about the felines and their lives. Her furry girls never judge or scold; they are always warm, nurturing, and encouraging even to children who can only read and write a few words.
Get them reading and writing what they love and they will continue.
If you do not believe her, just ask Miss Maggie May (or any researcher).
If your young one prefers hearing from a dog, the adorable PeePee PooPoo, Minnie Magnolia, or
Sandi will gladly oblige.... www.atlantapawpals.com

After almost 30 years teaching high school students in special education, Dr. Walden firmly believes every person can learn if the materials are presented in the correct format. Dr. Walden offers different learning modalities for visual, hands-on, and audio learners the opportunity to learn at a slower pace and with guided information.
